Evaluation of your horse's feet can be one of the most difficult things for a horseowner to learn.
We rely on the expertise of our trained farriers, but not all shoers shoe or think alike.  "No hoof,
no horse" carries as true today as when the phrase was first coined. Underrun heels, long toes,
problems with breakover, club feet, short shod, tight shod, white line disease, thrush, laminitis,
navicular...the list of problems is miles long, and each one carries with it a different treatment, or
THEORY of treatment. Steel, aluminum, bar, wedge, eggbar, heart-bar, hospital plate, reverse
wedge, toe grabs, caulk holes, epoxy, methylmethacrylate...do you know what each of these is
