| Frequently Asked Questions... 1. Who benefits from these services? While a full evaluation and treatment will benefit any horse from a preventative medicine standpoint, specific signs that your horse may need treatment include:
2. How much do you charge for your services? Please call for a current fee schedule, as prices are subject to travel distance, number of clients, and treatments required. 3. How many treatments are needed? Depending on the condition being treated, a treatment routine will be established that is best for the patient. Some patients will benefit from even a solitary adjustment or treatment, while chronic injuries may require frequent follow-up to reduce inflammation and re-train muscle and nerve pathways used to compensating for trauma. 4. Who can provide these treatments? Check your state veterinary statutes to determine the laws in your area. Use caution with lay- practitioners. Most states require services be provided by a licensed veterinarian. Most important is to form a bond with your doctor, and that you are both working toward the same goals. My patients become part of my family, and I care for them as if they are my own. 5. What should I expect after a treatment? Please see "Post-Treatment Information Sheet" 6. How long did it take you to become a veterinarian, and holistic specialist? I spent 7 years in college, one year in an internship, and hundreds of hours over two years in continuing education for certification courses, in addition to sitting examinations. I learn something new every day from my clients and patients, and continually strive to perform better and improve my services. |
